Bijon Chatterji is Editor-in-Chief and co-founder of theinder.net, Germany’s leading online magazine focused on India. Since launching the publication in 2000, he has shaped the platform into a respected source of independent, balanced and nuanced reporting on India and Indo-German relations. theinder.net has been recognized by the President of Germany and is regularly invited to participate in diaspora dialogues hosted by the Federal Chancellery. Bijon holds a PhD from the University of Hanover and has held senior strategic positions in industry. He has served as a jury member for the Robert Bosch Stiftung and joined the Indo-German Media Network (IGMN) in 2026.
