Sunanda Rao-Erdem is an expert in communications and a strategic enabler of Indo-German cooperation. She has over two decades of experience in journalism, public relations, and development communications. As the Founder and CEO of Seraphim Communications LLP, she advises embassies, ministries, universities, and international organizations on narrative strategy, stakeholder engagement, and media outreach.

A former editor at Deutsche Welle and Nai Dunia (Hindi), and former Managing Director at CNC Communications India, Sunanda brings a unique bicultural perspective to her work, combining German precision with Indian storytelling. She has been instrumental in advancing initiatives in education, technology, and cultural diplomacy.

Also a trained opera singer, Sunanda has long contributed to cultural exchange through her association with the Neemrana Music Foundation and other platforms. Her work continues to build meaningful bridges between Germany and India, using the power of communication to foster trust, visibility, and collaboration.
